An outdoor kitchen from K&H is built on masonry rather than a prefabricated frame, with gas and electrical run to code and the finish matched to the house it is attached to. Gas has to be run and pressure-tested, circuits have to be sized for what you are actually plugging in, and a slab has to be poured on ground that moves with the seasons. Get any of that wrong and it shows up two years later as a cracked counter or a grill that will not hold temperature. It is also why the finish matters as much as the appliances: a kitchen faced in stone that does not relate to the house reads as an add-on no matter how good the equipment is.
